On October 7, 2025, the Supreme Court heard arguments in Chiles vs. Salazer, in which Christian counselor Kaley Chiles is trying to overturn a Colorado law prohibiting conversion therapy. She is doing so based on her First Amendment right to free speech.

The underlying philosopy of the defendants is threefold: homosexual desires are natural, gender is assigned, and the liberal understanding of gender is scientifically proven.

However, there are two major problems with this view:
1. It is stupid
2. It defies creation order
