In this Chefman Electric Kettle Review, I do a boiling test to compare how fast the Chefman Fast-Boil boils 1.8 liters of water compared to an older Chefman tea kettle I've had. I also show you the differences between the Chefman Fast-Boil and the older Chefman Kettle with the tea infuser and tell you what I like about each and why.

Based on my experience, it takes about 7 minutes to boil 1.8 liters of water with the Chefman Fast-Boil Tea Kettle. In my experiment, my older Chefman with the tea infuser took about 30 seconds to a minute longer to boil the same amount of water.

The main thing I like better about the Fast Boil tea kettle is how easy it is to clean. The lid is completely removable, and the opening of the kettle is bigger than the older one I have, making it easy to get your hand inside to clean. It's also easier to clean because you don't infuse the tea inside the kettle like you do with my older model.

The one downside of the newer kettle is also the removable lid. Although it makes cleaning easier, the older model allows you to pop up the lid with a button without removing the lid, making it simple to refill.

A couple of details you might be interested in regarding this tea kettle are that it's BPA-free and it has an auto shut-off that works once the tea is boiled.

The bottom line is, I'm very happy with our new Chefman Fast-Boil electric tea kettle. I expect to get at least 3 years use out of it, based upon how long our older kettle has lasted. That being said, I think it's possible we'll even get more use out of the newer tea kettle because you don't infuse the tea inside.

I hope you enjoyed my review of this Chefman electric tea kettle, and I hope it helps you decide whether or not this glass tea kettle is a good choice for your needs.
