In this Apple Magic Keyboard review, I unbox my new keyboard and show you what it comes with. You'll get a braided nylon USB-C to Lightning cable with your magic keyboard.
In addition to unboxing our Magic Keyboard, I show you how to setup your keyboard, and I also go through some of the settings after getting it connected.
I got the Apple Magic Keyboard to go with my new Mac Mini so I could have a similar keyboard experience to what I had with my MacBook laptop. I also got the Magic Trackpad for the same reason.
After experimenting with my magic keyboard and trackpad, I'm happy to say the experience is as good as I hoped it would be, and I don't have to get used to using a mouse.
Another thing I think is very cool about the Magic Keyboard is how long it holds a charge. I was on day 3 of using it without charging it when I discovered that it still had a 100% charge. Since then, I've read that you can go weeks without charging this keyboard.
Bluetooth connection with the keyboard is simple. You plug it into your computer while it's turned on, and it will be auto-paired with Bluetooth after that first physical connection.
The bottom line is that I like my Magic Keyboard a lot, and I highly recommend it for people who are used to using Mac laptops.
