Following the decision to sell my PS5 Pro, this is a quick channel update covering exactly what changes going forward, what stays the same, and where the channel is heading next.
A channel update on the move away from PlayStation and what it means for future content.
The most important point is that Nintendo remains at the heart of the channel, completely unchanged. The reviews, the Switch 2 coverage and the frame rate and resolution testing all stay front and centre, so if that is what you come here for, nothing changes for you.
The one practical change is that Switch 2 comparison videos will now be against the Xbox Series X rather than PlayStation. I actually think this makes those comparisons fairer and more accurate, since comparing the Switch 2 against the PS5 Pro with PSSR doing heavy lifting was never quite a like for like comparison. The Xbox Series X gives a clearer and more honest picture of where the Switch 2 actually stands.
Crucially, content is not slowing down. I have simply swapped one console out of my workflow for another I already owned, so the schedule and output stay exactly the same. A full Granblue Fantasy Relink Endless Ragnarok frame rate test is already in the pipeline once I have worked through the end game content.

![Splatoon Raiders Review - Better Than It Has Any Right to Be?
Splatoon Raiders is the first standalone spin-off in the Splatoon franchise, and this is my full review after playing through the campaign and endgame on Nintendo Switch 2.
Reviewed on Nintendo Switch 2. Score: [insert score] out of 10.
Splatoon Raiders is a major departure for the series, swapping competitive Turf War and Ranked Battles for a single player focused PvE looter shooter. You play as the Mechanic, crash landed on the Spirhalite Islands alongside Deep Cut, raiding Salmonid held territory for treasure, loot and gear upgrades. It is a bold new direction, and the review digs into how well that gamble pays off across the gameplay loop, the progression, the boss encounters and the substantial endgame content in the Bottomless Buffet.
The review covers the raiding and looting core, how the Exploration Bots and Deep Cut factor into each raid, the depth of the build and gear upgrade systems, the variety across the islands and subterranean areas, the boss fights, and how the game holds up in both solo play and the optional four player co-op. It also touches on performance and presentation on Nintendo Switch 2, and who the game is really for.
Whether you are a longtime Splatoon fan unsure about the spin-off direction, a newcomer curious whether this is a good entry point, or simply weighing up whether it is worth your money, this review covers everything you need to make the call. Let me know in the comments if you are picking it up. Subscribe for more Nintendo Switch 2 reviews and coverage.
