Star Fox is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, and this video covers Mission 6, Area 6, captured in HDR.
Captured on Nintendo Switch 2.
Area 6 is one of the toughest stages in the entire game, reached via the hard route from Sector Z and serving as the final approach to Venom, Andross's home planet. As an all range space battle, Area 6 throws relentless waves of enemy fighters, turrets and projectiles at the Star Fox team, making it one of the most intense and demanding missions in the whole journey. Surviving the onslaught and pushing through to the end is a real test of everything you have learned, and the remake captures the sheer scale and chaos of the battle beautifully in HDR.
A cinematic remake of the legendary Star Fox 64 developed by Velan Studios, Star Fox brings Fox McCloud and the team back with a complete visual overhaul, fully voiced new dialogue and an epic orchestral soundtrack, all running at 60fps with real time cutscenes.
Whether you are a longtime Star Fox fan revisiting Area 6, a Nintendo Switch 2 owner fighting through the hard route to Venom, or simply curious about how the remake handles this relentless space battle in HDR, this video gives you a full look. Subscribe for more Star Fox Nintendo Switch 2 content.

![Splatoon Raiders Review - Better Than It Has Any Right to Be?
Splatoon Raiders is the first standalone spin-off in the Splatoon franchise, and this is my full review after playing through the campaign and endgame on Nintendo Switch 2.
Reviewed on Nintendo Switch 2. Score: [insert score] out of 10.
Splatoon Raiders is a major departure for the series, swapping competitive Turf War and Ranked Battles for a single player focused PvE looter shooter. You play as the Mechanic, crash landed on the Spirhalite Islands alongside Deep Cut, raiding Salmonid held territory for treasure, loot and gear upgrades. It is a bold new direction, and the review digs into how well that gamble pays off across the gameplay loop, the progression, the boss encounters and the substantial endgame content in the Bottomless Buffet.
The review covers the raiding and looting core, how the Exploration Bots and Deep Cut factor into each raid, the depth of the build and gear upgrade systems, the variety across the islands and subterranean areas, the boss fights, and how the game holds up in both solo play and the optional four player co-op. It also touches on performance and presentation on Nintendo Switch 2, and who the game is really for.
Whether you are a longtime Splatoon fan unsure about the spin-off direction, a newcomer curious whether this is a good entry point, or simply weighing up whether it is worth your money, this review covers everything you need to make the call. Let me know in the comments if you are picking it up. Subscribe for more Nintendo Switch 2 reviews and coverage.
