Here's a little throwback video to 2018. I took my kids on an off-trail hike in search of chaga. Please note that many people would disagree with harvesting chaga at this time of year (January is preferred) or by the Ka-Pow! method (saw is preferred). Apologies to IG@stevie_funfur for showing bad technique :)
Even though my kids misbehaved part of the time they all had fond memories of this trip when I showed them the footage and we all laughed hard at their whining and crying. Sometimes it doesn't feel like you are winning out there, but you are truly making memories that last a lifetime.
