Several months ago I was asked if I could make a tutorial for Catharsis by Amy Cann, so here it is! This is a really popular fiddle tune in the United States, and it's really fun to play! I hope this helps you learn the song on the violin! =)

This tutorial goes over the basic tune for Catharsis. I've been receiving a lot of comments asking about how to increase the tempo. Because one of the easiest ways to learn how to play faster is through repetition and gradually increasing the tempo, I've added additional tempo run-through versions at the end of the video. I hope you have fun learning the melody! =)
