Here is where to find and capture Frostallion in Palworld 1.0.
Frostallion is a Legendary Ice-element Pal resembling a massive frozen pegasus. It can only be encountered in the wild as an Alpha boss inside the Astral Mountains, on the northwestern side of the large frozen island. The boss arena is located at approximately -357, 509, east of the Land of Absolute Zero teleport point.
In this step-by-step guide, I show Frostallion’s exact location on the world map, provide the coordinates, demonstrate the route from the nearest fast-travel statue, and walk you through the process of weakening and capturing this Legendary Pal.
The Palworld 1.0 Frostallion Alpha is Level 60, so bring cold-resistant armor, powerful weapons, healing supplies, a Ring of Mercy, strong Pal Spheres, and a capable Fire-element Pal. Fire attacks are effective against Frostallion’s Ice element, but avoid leaving powerful Pals active once its health becomes extremely low.
Capturing Frostallion also unlocks the Steam achievement Legendary Steed of Ice, making this boss essential for players working toward full achievement completion.
After capturing Frostallion, I return to my base and provide a complete walkthrough of its stats, work suitability, active attacks, passive skills, and Partner Skill.
Frostallion has Cooling Level 7, making it an exceptional specialist for refrigerators, cold-food storage, and other facilities requiring Cooling. Its Partner Skill, Ice Steed, allows it to be ridden as a flying mount, changes the player’s attacks to Ice damage, and increases Ice attack power while mounted.
You must first unlock and craft the Frostallion Saddle before its Partner Skill and flying mount ability can be used. The saddle is currently a Level 62 Pal Gear technology and remains permanently stored as a Key Item after crafting.
