Released in 2015, CH Men Privé is a fragrance you will have heard of if you follow other fragrance channels. The nose behind is was Camille Latron, a Puig perfumer.

CH Men Privé opens with a boozy head of grapefruit, honey, and lavender. It follows with a heat of spicy cardamom, star anise, and cade oil.
The resulting base delivers tonka bean, benzoin, and agarwood.
It has a classically structured and conventional dry-down. There are intriguing nuances, though, which continue to interact throughout.

Performance isn't quite as good as you'd hope. The sillage is understated and projection is tight with a small range. However, this can be used to your advantage to produce a seductive scent bubble. Nevertheless, the longevity is somewhat limited.
In terms of seasonality, it's distinctively a winter fragrance. It pairs beautifully with the connotations of Danish Hygge with fireplace and spicy imagery.

The flacon looks best from a distance. Closer up, the plastic finish can appear quite cheap. Although Carolina Herrara has tried to create a unique and innovative cap, the execution isn't quite as stylish as you'd expect.
Meanwhile, the packaging is stylish with a distinctive finish. As for the atomiser, it works very well, producing a thin mist with wide dispersal.
It's quite pricey though. At $75 RRP for 100ml, it is far from cheap. However, if you head to the online retailers listed above, you can find it at a price that offers decent value for money.
