I decided to repeat the wire and the foil experiment from the last video, but this time inside a vacuum jar. A piece of #26 magnet wire wound in a loose coil was first to receive the 80 uF 6400 V discharge. The copper was vaporized and left the glass jar copper colored. The second discharge went into a piece of aluminium foil. The foil blew into pieces, a lot of it turning into aluminium dust. Slow motion recorded at 480 frames/sec.
