The air cannon was set up with my new 72" long cal .565 rifled barrel. The test target was a 2 liter plastic juice bottle filled with water. A large cavity hollow point cast lead slug was prepared. Firing pressure was 325 psi. Slow motion was recorded at 240 and 480 frames/sec. With the new rifled barrel, the slugs travel nose first and are accurate over the 10 meter range. The slug fired through the water bottle was recovered near the backstop and is shown, with others, at the end of the video.
