In the sixth video we accurately measured the capacitance of our sensor with just an Arduino and a resistor, exploiting the RC circuit charging curve (link below). But then I mentioned that the relative permittivity of our fluid might change.
So this time we solve that problem by using a reference sensor. We build one and do some test measurements. Then we calculate the level of our fluid, independent from its dielectric constant. Another part with an improved sensor will follow.
