In this video I am going to give an overview of the Canam Missing Project & Missing 411 books, and I am going to explain my criticisms of this research as well as defend it against a prominent piece of criticism.

David Paulides is a former police detective who later went on to research missing persons cases and present his findings. He established the Canam Missing Project which looks at cases throughout North American and across the globe, and he has published a series of 11 Missing 411 books dealing with this subject. David Paulides also has a popular YouTube channel and he has appeared on various radio shows, television shows and podcasts and he has spoken at numerous conferences.

I hear about this material in 2026 and I have been interested in it ever since. I have watched, heard and read most of the stuff David Paulides has produced and I have 10 of the 11 Missing 411 books.

I am going to provide and overview of the Canam Missing Project/Missing 411 books and I am going to discuss my specific personal criticisms. I am also going to defend David Paulides and his research from a prominent piece of criticism that I think is unfair and inaccurate. I will then give a brief overview of the 10 individual Missing 411 books that I have.
