In this video I talk about my experiences growing up in the Pentecostal church.

Pentecostalism is a distinct denomination within Protestantism. It is part of the Charismatic movement of Christianity that emphasizes the work of the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts as an everyday part of a believer's life.
The word Pentecostal is derived from Pentecost - an event that commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon apostles and other followers of Jesus while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Feast of Weeks, as described in Acts 2: 1-31.
Like other forms of evangelical Protestantism, it generally adheres to the inerrancy of the Bible and the necessity of a person being "born again" - a process of repenting of sins and accepting Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
It is partially distinguished by the belief in "baptism in the Holy Spirit", an experience that enables Christians to live a spirit-filled and empowered life. Some manifestations of these spiritual gifts include glossolalia (speaking in tongues), prophecy, divine healing and even exorcisms.
