Happy first day of Spring, kids! Nothing says hope and rebirth quite like Spring. And nothing says Spring quite like a bunch of Canadian birds flitting around to a goofy tune (IMHO). From 1995, maybe earlier, comes "Bird Song", for lack of a better name, from Episode 3370 of Canadian Sesame Street, with thanks to @RoliHashmi2013. The song is a parody of "They Call The Wind Maria", written by Alan J. Lerner and Frederick Loewe, for their 1951 Broadway musical, "Paint Your Wagon". Bonus video below of Pernell Roberts belting it out over scenes from TV's "Bonanza" 'cause why the hey not? Enjoy.
