Often, when someone becomes interested in the Catholic Faith, the learning curve is so steep that it can be easy to be caught up in studying all the theology, history, liturgy and all other things Catholic, and even develop a spirit of pride about the new things being learned.
Derek Rotty looks back on his own experience of this process, and why it's important for inquirers and converts to study the information about Catholicism on their way into the Church, but to always remember that it is God's grace that initiates and guides, and any learning and study must be in service to that.
