Seth Burkholder was raised Catholic but hadn't practiced in years. When he felt God calling him back, he knew he had to go to Confession. The date he picked ended up being December 13th, and he ended up finally receiving the Eucharist a few days later on December 17th, which happens to be his birthday.

Later, searching through the sacramental records from his childhood he discovered the certificate for the first time he'd ever gone to confession as a kid: December 13th, the feast of St. Lucy.
