Saying yes to God has been a part of Fr. Jerry Byrd's story from the beginning, when his parents chose life after receiving a poor prenatal diagnosis when his mother was pregnant with him.
Fr. Byrd said yes to God himself when he gave his heart to Jesus as a kid growing up in a Baptist church in Indiana. Later, he said yes again when he heard that same voice calling him toward the Catholic Church; another yes came when he answered a call to the priesthood.
Fr. Byrd shares how Mary's willingness to say yes to the angel Gabriel at the Annunciation is the template for all Christian obedience, and evidence that God wants to involve us in His work in the world.

The Coming Home Network was established to help inquiring clergy and laity of various faiths -- or even no faith at all -- with fellowship, resources, and encouragement as they explore the possibility of becoming Catholic.
