About this event

No Headset/Wearable required! Workshop designed for CV engineers looking to explore how to use wearables.
What if your computer vision models could see what you see—and react instantly? Imagine sitting at a poker table, with AI-powered smartglasses recognizing cards and adapting in real time. This demo brings pretrained models to life, showing how first-person PoV data makes AI behave more like a human observer. This workshop will bring it alive

Walk-Through Highlight – How to build the AI Poker App for Wearables:
Experience a simple but powerful prototype where smartglasses recognize cards in a poker-style app. Watch AI track, adapt, and respond dynamically to player moves—proof of how wearables can unlock new CV possibilities with Roboflow.

Takeaways for the audience:
🥽 See how pre-trained CV models run seamlessly on smartglasses with Roboflow
🎴 Watch how a card detection app can be built from scratch
🧠 Analyze how PoV data increases the accuracy of human-like AI perception
👓 How to utilize Meta Quest & Unity for developing CV-powered prototypes
👨‍💻 How to utilize cross-functional skillsets of XR, CV, AI and mobile devs

Why this topic matters:
Wearables give AI continuous context, depth, and interactive feedback—making them the ideal medium for testing CV models beyond 2D datasets. For CV, XR and mobile engineers, this opens up entirely new applications when models meet immersive environments.

What we’ll cover:
Bringing CV models into wearables for real-time, first-person use
Overview of Roboflow’s Universe, Annotation, Workflows, Train & Deploy
PoV interactions showing models adapting to user actions
The card game demo: the quickest way to experience CV in smartglasses
