I head up one of Scotlands highest (and steepest) mountains and am rewarded with some of the finest conditions I have had on a high camp. Could this be the finest pitch in the central highlands? The importance of reading the weather for this reason is worth it alone but can have much more serious implications if you cannot read a forecast.
