After a night in the van I realise navigation will be important on todays hike... A discussion on my thoughts on mapping (digital and paper) and why both are handy to have at hand. Always good to have axe and crampons too - even when you cannot see any snow from start point!! Gerry may also make his presence felt from the future .....
