Bruach na Frithe : The Early Bird catches the worm ; Red Skye in the morning - shepherds warning... Two well know phrases that applied to me on this trip onto the Black Cuillin Ridge in Skye. Having failed (only just) to get a view from this mountain the last time I was keen to get to the top before the heavens opened and obscured the view.
