Munro 67 and 68 - Ben More and Stob Binnein from Inverlochlarig Kids on Crags 2026-04-25 | One of our best days. We set off later but made it back before dark. 8:30. Munro 67 and 68. The best part was meeting the boys YouTube hero Murray.
Creise and Meall aBhùiridh from the Ski centre Kids on Crags 2026-09-13 | We revisited Creise and Meall a'Bhùiridh for the second time. The first time we didn’t make Creise due to the wind so it was amazing to come and complete the pair. Took 6:45. Lorna was amazing as there was some exposed bits.
Beinn Each - kids free to check the exposure Kids on Crags 2026-08-31 | Beinn Each was a long thought about Corbett given two sections of exposure so we decided to go kid free. Lorna has came so far with her fear of exposure and Vertigo. The hill rises steeply above Loch Lubnaig- it took us 3.5 hours and it was a great day.

Beinn Stacath - go the easier route Kids on Crags 2026-08-22 | Beinn Stacath made it Corbett 14 for us with our guest team member Orin Forbes today. The mountain is in the heart of the Trossachs, but as Walkhighlands says few hillwalkers have heard of it. We took a terrible route with constant bashing when there is a road to the bottom of the hill. The hill its self has terrible terrain with long grass and holes. The views and weather were incredible though. 5:40 and nearly 10 miles due to dad’s dodgy map reading.

Glencoe Orbital Path - final day of the holiday Kids on Crags 2026-06-08 | Last day of the holiday so before heading home we did half of the Glencoe Orbital which is a scenic, easily navigable, ~10 km loop in the Scottish Highlands that connects Glencoe village to landmarks like Signal Rock, the Clachaig Inn, and the visitor centre. We went to Hagrids Hut filming location and then the pub and decided to do the rock and centre next time. Highly recommended.
Happy 8th Birthday Everly- Glenfinnan Viaduct circuit. Kids on Crags 2026-06-07 | A brilliant short walk for Everly’s Birthday of the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct with the monument and superb views of Loch Shiel. 1:30 mins.
Munro 71- Sgorr nam Fiannaidh (Aonach Eagach) via Pap of Glencoe Kids on Crags 2026-06-06 | Amazing day. We are up for Everly’s Birthday and planned the Anochs but the weather sent us to the Pap of Glencoe with a long shot at the Munro Sgorr nam Fiannaidh at one side of the Aonach Eagach. We cut across from the Bealach with no path and made it to the top. 8 miles and over 7 hours. Scree on Road down was very challenging
An Sochach Kids on Crags 2026-04-06 | 11 miles. Bit of a calamity today with me somehow ending up with Craig's spikes on, his fingers were too cold to get his out his baghad he have done, we'd have clocked sooner we had each other), so mine kept falling off, one of Everly's broke and Finlay kept tripping and falling because of his(no idea why - he's used them plenty), so had to take them off~. All the while getting absolutely batteredwith the wind on the ridge. Still not sure why Craig never stopped and just put his gloves on, but he now thinks he has mild frost biteA time was had!Sitting having a few vinos now to sign off on the Easter weekend and Munro 66
Deuchary Hill at 510m and Beaver evidence Kids on Crags 2026-03-15 | Brilliant walk, passing through woodlands, open moorland, alongside a mill dam, and up to Deuchary Hill at 510m. Great views of Schiehallion in the north-west, the Beinn a Ghlo due north. Look out for evidence of beavers around the south end of Mill Dam. along the burn and gnawed trees :)
Ben Venue from Loch Achray Kids on Crags 2026-02-14 | Ben Venue is a cracker. Very cold and icy so spikes were a must. The ascent is a great walk with icy rocky ground higher up, and stunning awesome from the summit.
Fiddlers Path, Dunkeld (kids free for Lorna’s Birthday) Kids on Crags 2026-01-30 | We are up in Perth for the night for Lorna Birthday. It was rainy and cold but we enjoyed the leg stretch of nearly 6 miles. As Walk Highlands says this lovely circuit follows the banks of the mighty River Tay upstream from Dunkeld, before returning down the opposite site. It takes in the magnificent ruined Cathedral as well as some remarkable trees - including the Mother Larch and Niel Gow's Oak.

Fionn Bheinn, from Achnasheen Kids on Crags 2025-10-23 | Day 7 of the Autumn Adventure = Munro 65 for the boys and our first in this area. So boggy from top to bottom but incredible views. 4hours of walking time.

Cruach Àrdrain and Beinn Tulaichean Kids on Crags 2025-08-24 | Munro 62 and 63! 8 miles 6 hours. We didn’t do circuit. We went counter clockwise to Bealach. Then out to Cruach Àrdrain and then Beinn Tulaichean. Less views than normal. Keep watching and it opens up.
Glas Bheinn and the UKs Highest Waterfall, Eas a Chual Aluinn loop. Kids on Crags 2025-08-03 | 8 miles and less than 6 hours for the amazing loop. Extremely steep start and pull up and beautiful loop via Britains biggest waterfall.

Beinn Bhan, Glen Loy, near Fort William Kids on Crags 2025-06-06 | This Corbett (number 10) was a perfect four hour short day out. The ascent is super tough straight up but is rewarded by a plateau as good as most on with superb views to Ben Nevis, Loch Arkaig, Loch Lochy and all the surrounding mountains out to Knodart. We loved it. BUT fears and ticks were horrific

Three hard pull ups and narrow path but a wonderful day at 6 hours with lunch and breaks included. Huge thanks to a number kind people we met who were so kind to the boys throughout the day.

Navagio Beach, Smugglers Cove or shipwreck Beach - perfect day trip while on Zante Kids on Crags 2024-11-02 | Navagio Beach, or Shipwreck Beach, is an exposed cove, sometimes referred to as"Smugglers Cove", on the coast of Zakynthos or Zante as you hear it in the UK. We took the bus tour from North East coast over to the West coast and set sail from Porto Vromi. Amazing day
