In one of the series of "Real California, it's the cheese" ads, a Tommy Chong-esque hippie explains how he was in San Francisco since 1965. He explains how the Summer of Love and all the be-ins and love-ins are all gone, the only thing that still the same is the cheese.

This 30 second local insert spot aired on FOX on October 27th, 1997, during the premiere of The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror VIII.
