Planning a trip to Boa Vista, Cape Verde? In this video, I’m sharing my real experiences staying in two different Airbnb accommodations, plus insights into small guesthouses you can find on Booking and other platforms.
My first stay was in a charming standalone bungalow located on a shared property, where the host also lived on-site. The space had a bright, white, airy feel and was perfect for two guests. It included a separate kitchen, living room, and bedroom—fully self-contained and ideal if you enjoy a bit of privacy. I stayed here for two nights, and then spent one additional night in a room inside the main house. The bungalow cost €109 for two nights (Jan 2025 pricing).
My second stay was a completely different experience—a spacious two-bedroom apartment located close to the beach near the town center. It was beautifully furnished, could host up to four guests, and honestly felt like amazing value for money. The price? Just €110 for two nights (Feb 2025 pricing), which really surprised me given the size and location.
During my stay, I also had the chance to sit down with Iza, a long-term Airbnb host in Boa Vista, to talk about hosting, accommodation options, and life on the island.
