We started at Morabeza Beach Bar & Lounge Restaurant for sunset drinks before the African night began—drummers, dancers, and a fire show right on the beach. As the night went on, it turned into a party with live music and dancing in the sand.
Later, we headed into Sal Rei, moving between local Barracas with Afrobeat, kizomba, and plenty of grogue—no plan, just following the music.
The next night was completely different. After dinner, we stumbled into a local 60th birthday party and were invited to join—live music, dancing, and real Cape Verdean “morabeza.”
