Whether you're just getting into bushcraft and survival, or you're an old sage, a good handsaw is indispensable in the wilderness. From survival shelter building and cutting fire wood to light weight backpacking, a good saw's usefulness is undisputable. In this week's video I'll show you how to build an easy DIY bushcraft bucksaw using just a Leatherman multitool and basic bucksaw blade. Bucksaws are great because all you really need is the light weight and flexible saw blade. The rest can be built on sight with natural materials found in the forest. The sawblade can be rolled up and stored in a tin cup or bugout bag. Taking an hour or so to build a bucksaw will make shelter building go much faster. This is a great bushcraft project for beginners.
Don't forget to subscribe to the channel. We're uploading a new video each week that features one of the following topics: archery, bow hunting, bow building, survival skills, bushcraft, self reliance, primitive skills, primitive bows, hunting, camping, fishing, and a lot more!
