Primitive net traps, they're pretty much in every movie you've ever seen where anyone gets caught! And they always work flawlessly... But do they really? In this bushcraft survival video we'll be learning how to set a net trap and seeing if we can catch a raccoon. Primitive live traps probably shouldn't' be your go to primitive trap in a survival situation but there are a number of reasons you may want to live trap an animal. One that comes to mind is warm weather which may cause meat to spoil if we were to use something like a deadfall. But whatever the reason, primitive net traps are just another tool to add to our primitive survival toolbox. Adding a trail cam to the set lets us see how the animals react to the traps and see the primitive traps in action.
