One of the best thing about making bushcraft and survival skills videos is that it pushes me to try new things. This week I'm comparing the Dakota Fire Pit and the Swedish Torch to see which one will boil water faster. If you want to up your camp fire game, you'll want to add these camping hacks to your bag of tricks! Both of these fire techniques are supper efficient in terms of fuel consumption and both are useful in their own ways. I start by showing how to make a dakota fire pit with minimal tools, then we use the axe to create a simple swedish torch. There are many ways to construct these things but this is the easiest I've found. To round things off I use the torch to do a little bushcraft cooking.
