German strongpoint 106 Dresden at Sangatte was a coastal battery of the Kriegsmarine. It had a special fire control post (French) and two guns of 17 cm, placed in bunker type M 270. One gun on a open emplacement. Hitler expected the invasion in this area. The battery surrendered to the Canadians on the 27th of September 1944.
