After WW2 the Dutch army received 60 Diamond T M-20 tank transporters. A total of 6.548 were built by the Diamond T Motor Car Company in Chicago. In total 6.548 were built and they were used by all the Allied countries. The Dutch used the Diamond for the transport of Sherman tanks. After the introduction of the Centurion (1953), they were replaced with the Thornycroft Mighty Antar.
