Kassandra Starkell and Martin Martyniak like living downtown, but when they were looking for their first home they wanted something new, something green and something near downtown.
Kassandra was looking for green features, but when they found the Landmark Net-Zero homes in Blatchford, the largest Carbon Neutral Community in Canada, they knew they'd found their new home.
They are young homebuyers who wanted green, but didn't want to figure it all out, so they purchased a Landmark Home in Blatchford that was solar-powered, heated by an air-source heat pump, super energy efficient and would produce almost ZERO utility cost on a net-annual basis.
