In this video I use my Stanley 78 plane to form the tenons on the front and side rails. Overall, the process is straightforward with a bit of know-how and planning. However, there was a bit of a mishap along the way as my plane's fence seemed to move slightly (not addressed in the video), and I had to come back and ensure everything was the same.

I elected to cut the tenons in groups when possible. On tough grain, I used a saw and chisel.

To determine the thickness of the tenon, I used the 1/4" cutter from my Stanley 45 (the same I used to cut the grooves in the legs in video part 6). I laid it on the end of the tenon and market the thickness and scribed a line.
