I really really wanted to know what was making the back light noise, so I decided to tear down the BM235 and take a look.

UPDATE: Turns out I was off on what I thought made the noise. Others traced it to a capacitor. I was able to fix it: youtu.be/TfNuTmqtiD4

According to Dave's manual it said it would NOT void warranty. I usually wait until manufactures warranty expires before I tear something down.

Unfortunately I did not think about recording the video until it was partly taken apart. But you will see how to it goes back together and taking it apart is just the opposite. I also explain the things to watch out for.

I know this is one of my goofy videos, no sleep for a long time. But despite no sleep I believe I found the reason.
Then I put the meter through all the tests after I assembled it to make sure it didn't loose any accuracy and the readings matched my review video.
