HoverBoard Charging or battery issue? Same could be asked about the Samsung Note 7?
This is not my normal type of video, but I try to cover a lot of basics and thoughts on the media press about hoverboards exploding.
I also cover your basics on Li-Ion and LyPo batteries, dangerous fakes/forgeries and chargers to be careful with.Their is a to much to explain these battery chemistries in detail, so this is the basics. If your just starting to work with LyPo or Li-Ion batteries for your projects I encourage you to take the time and read up on them as much as possible.
From the little research I did on these hoverboards/hover scooters I would personally recommend finding one with a metal body, or at least a metal bottom if you plan to use it outside. Also make sure they are certified with the European CE, or UL or another equivalent consumer electronics safety certification.
