Caution: You can damage the panels even more if you use the heat to long.
When I heard about this I thought it was worth a try. This came out better then I expected.
I did find it went faster with a direct flame and removing the torch fan tip, but you have to be even more careful with the direct flame as you can melt the plastic faster. With swift fast motion over the light and medium scratches they did melt back into the panels.
