"Kati, I understand that the meaning in life is found through action. I have never been able to change this feeling of meaninglessness through a mindset shift only, not in the long term. But it seems that what drives us to take any kind of action is precisely the feeling that what we're doing matters somehow, that there's meaning in it. I feel like nothing I could possibly do or achieve could have any meaning to me. Sounds like depression. I cannot shake off the feeling that the only thing I truly want in life is to cease to exist. Ooh. When I feel like nothing in life matters, I don't take action. How can any meaning in life be found when it takes action to find meaning? I gotcha. And it's precisely the lack of meaning that keeps us from taking action. What is the initial drive towards creating a meaningful life? And how can we be consistent with it? I'm sorry if this doesn't make much sense. I had a hard time figuring out a way to explain this in a coherent way. Thank you for everything you do here. I really appreciate your work."
