On my first playthrough of Omori, I came very close to completely missing this boss fight. One of my favorite things about Omori is it's incredible depth in that even the most vigourous completetionists will have a difficult time squeezing everything they can out of this game. This fight happens in an entire section of the game that's very possible to completely miss and it happened to be one of the coolest and most fun sections of the game for me, which make me really excited as I'm going through my second playthrough exploring another route.

This song is absolutely stellar and it was a treat to give it a go. I knew going in that this was going to be a passion project and I wanted to really go all out with all the dumb ideas I had for a boss battle involving morbidly depressed bakers. I can count the times I've left my house during this pandemic on one hand and can now safely say one of them was to procure bread for this video. Ironically enough I couldn't actually eat any of the bread since we filmed this outside of my fasting window, but I am excited to have some sandwiches soon.

This cover has a ton of layers. There are the mainstays of my covers, two rhythm guitars, bass, drums, explosions, and 6 layers of lead guitars, a full orchestra with added accordion and solo string vsts, along with four layers of classical guitar, ska chords, and very subtle vocals punching the upbeats with "GO". So much went into creating something massive that the mix was a real challenge. I brought up the classical guitars since they're my favorite part of this song and I thought it really added an italian flair with the style I played it in.

Lots of work went into this one, it almost didn't get done in time, but I hope you enjoy! COME FOR THE BREAD, STAY FOR THE SHRED!
