I couldn't think of a Megaten demon for the thumbnail
Rules:
- The difficulty must be set to Hard for all fights the party participates in.
- EXP gain must be turned off (JP gain is still allowed).
- Norende must not be developed in any way. This is to prevent access to items, equipment, and special moves that can completely break the game.
- The use of Bravely Second is not allowed (not that you can get more SP with Citra, but still)
Those familiar with this fight might think that the BP spam here is to avoid Darkflow, which hits the whole party and makes Rusalka clones, but it's actually a move you can easily work around. It has a strange quirk where the max possible damage it can do is a character's current HP, so if you use Hedge Risk to halve it, it can never kill, even if the character is at one hit point.
The actual reason for this strat is because she has a move that inflicts Charm on one party member, and her clones have it as well. This makes the fight a choice between spending money on Ethers so a team with full HP can whittle her down with Zionga spells while fending off constant ailment spam, or spend money on BP Drink so you never have to deal with it. If it weren't for that, this would be a very low effort boss fight.
