Round 17 for dani_phantump’s Audio Chain
Decided to make a weird and super noisy and lo-fi indie trip hop ytpmv kinda thing for frame’s audio chain! I must admit I mainly used Media904’s round 15 but I definitely tried to include catball’s round 16 too, the notes you hear during the choruses (0:26) are taken from round 16 as well as all the noise at the end (2:15)
I’m not completely sure how to feel about this one lol, I am quite inexperienced when it comes to singing, making rock music (or really just any music that deviates from hip hop or electronic), mixing and whatnot, and I think I currently specialize much more in making hip hop beats. I do wanna get better at making music outside of instrumental hip hop in the future but for now I remain a NOOBIE!!! it’s fine though, not every tennis round of mine has to be good and it’s still a very unique concept for a tennis round
Lyrics are unrelated to the match or anything tennis related and it didn’t hit me until last minute that it would’ve been a good idea if I did make them related to said things, but it’s ok, they don’t have to be, instead the song is about when I lied on a bench for a good half hour during a multi hour walk. I will say I did include some references to ytp culture and whatnot with the “gay luigi” and “all toasters toast toast” mixed in there, so there’s that at least
Finished the instrumental to this last week. Had to wait until the next time my family left me home alone so I could sing the lyrics, and that time turned out to be today
Hurt my ribs pretty dang badly when I screamed at the end lmao…a thought I’ve had for the future is becoming an emo vocalist but maybe I shouldn’t if screaming is gonna hurt me that much
