Join me on a 2 day camping adventure to celebrate my 51st birthday. Starting off in the Yorkshire Dale's, we had rain and 60mph winds as we headed to the first destination, a secluded bothy just off the Herriot way path. On arriving there we get the fire going to warm up, have a few drinks, some food and a good laugh before getting our heads down for the night. Before leaving in the morning we have a look around the outside of the Bothy, then head back to the cars, and make a 2.5 hour drive over to the east coast of the UK for our next destination. We walk 45 minutes to the most beautiful beach, and having shed nearly 3 stone since new year my body confidence is at an all time high, so we go for a swim in the sea, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Then we fire up the bbq and enjoy sausage and burgers on the beach whilst listening to some top tunes 😁 with sunset approaching we pitch our tents on the most perfect pitch overlooking the sea, and get a lovely sunset before falling asleep to the sound of waves gently hitting the beach.
