Against my better judgment, I've decided to try my hand at OP8 raiding. My first victim is Pyro Pete. The fight wasn't really hard, but it was long because I had to keep getting ammo for the Harold.
I used the Fire-Immunity Big Boom Blaster to help keep me alive, and it also kept me from constantly having to wash off the D.O.T. The Shock Fastball and Shock Baby Maker made short work of Pete's shield, and from there on out, I used the D.P.U.H. with a Sheriff's Badge to slowly whittle his health down. When D.P.U.H. ammo was out, I used the Shock Baby Maker and Shock Omen (OK, once) to substitute until I was able to get more.

I had wanted to do a fresh story run on OP8 for a while now, so I thought Id do one with a restriction-no red text gear. A white-only or green-only run probably wouldve been a lot harder, but I chose to do it this way because I wanted to make it a little challenging and fun.
I wont be in a big hurry to complete the story, so Ill engage most of the enemies that are in my path. Ill also be switching gear fairly often in order to show how everything fares at OP8 difficulty. Hopefully, this will keep things somewhat fresh and interesting.
In this final installment of the main story run, I fight my way through Hero’s Pass and ultimately save Pandora from Jacks not-so-awesome tyranny.
It was pretty fun playing through the main story with no red text gear. Thank you for all the great feedback you gave me, too! Next up: the remaining slaughter arenas (Bandit and Hyperion). I hope all you guys and gals had a great holiday season!
