The Icelandic artist brings two installations, Blades of Grass and Vortex, to this innovative via Maggio gallery. Rósa Sigrún Jónsdóttir's intricate and detailed needle and crochet work brings beauty into everyday life.

The exhibition opens with Vortex, a series of knitted and crocheted columns suspended from the ceiling that create a sense of weightlessness and suspense.

It continues with Blades of Grass; painstakingly created grass meadow scenes that sit atop plinths at varying heights allow visitors to surround and experience the installation.

Stitched drawings are also part of the exhibition. Comprehensively detailed pencil drawings are stitched into, bridging the gap between the natural and the manmade. The exhibition finishes with a curtain and wall installation of crocheted flowers.
