The LdM Event Planning class organized a special night to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's death.
The event consisted of a guided visit of the Leonardo da Vinci museum in Via Cavour, where more than 50 replicas of his machines are exhibited, encouraging active participation and understanding of the Renaissance genius. The visit was followed by a competition that doubled up as an educative workshop; the goal was to build a machine designed by Leonardo, with the winning team receiving a prize. The aim of the event was to hone organization and communication skills: LdM students used tools such as the Facebook page to promote the event to other fellow students in the year dedicated to Leonardo.
