For years we’ve heard the same conversation repeated across social media, podcasts, and livestreams.
“I’m strong and independent.”
“I don’t need a man.”
“I want to focus on my career.”
“I want to focus on my degree.”
But what if we’re asking the wrong question?
Most debates begin with, “Does she know the consequences?” My argument is that many women already understand the message they were taught, the trade-offs involved, and the outcomes associated with different life choices.
If awareness is already present, then the conversation is no longer, “Does she know?”
The next question becomes:
What does she prefer?
In this livestream, I break down a simple three-step framework—Awareness → Preference → Action—to explain why I believe Black men should stop arguing with women who openly communicate what they want. This isn’t about telling anyone how they should live. It’s about respecting adult agency, reducing unnecessary conflict, and protecting our own mental health.
Using personal stories from my military career, my own health journey, and real-world examples, I explain why I believe it’s not a stranger’s job to interpret hidden motives, play therapist, or convince adults to adopt different priorities.
My message is simple:
Listen to what people communicate.
Make your own decisions accordingly.
And let reality provide the feedback.
The market will decide.
