Who was Krrsantan? He was a Wookiee bounty hunter first introduced in the 2015 Darth Vader comics, who became a consistent partner for Doctor Aphra in her *own* comic series. He was forced to leave Kashyyyk by his own people. We don’t know why, but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that he had used his claws in combat, which was considered to be a big no-no by his people. He volunteered to enter gladiatorial arenas to become a better fighter, and had metal plates cybernetically installed onto the bones of his hands. He gained notoriety in the fighting pits and eventually became a bounty hunter for Jabba the Hutt. This put him in conflict with Obi-Wan Kenobi after the Jedi in hiding disrupted Jabba’s attempts to collect a bogus water tax from moisture farmers. After the Battle of Yavin, Darth Vader hired the Wookiee for a handful of jobs, which led him to meet the rogue archaeologist Doctor Aphra. They maintained a partnership until shortly after the Battle of Hoth, when Krrsantan attempted to collect a bounty on her. A handful of years later he once again found himself working for Hutts, the twins seen in The Book of Boba Fett.
