Flitting birds are a rare feature in automata. Here is a scene featuring a bird drinking at a waterfall, two flitting hummingbirds and a large flapping bird on top of the tree. The flitting action is very effective and uses two rods on varying centres. This whole scene is covered by a large glass dome.
