Bira is an independent bottler out in Canada. They source and bottle rums from around the world and sell them in Alberta and British Columbia. In this video, I'm featuring two rums named Bira South Africa 4 Year and this is Bira South Africa 4 Year.
Both of these rums are made at Mhoba Distillery in South Africa. They are made from cane juice and were pot distilled in 2016 and then aged 4 years. While they’re both the same distillate, one is aged in South African Whiskey casks and the other is aged in ex-bourbon casks.
