Let’s make the Ultimate Kingston Negroni. At least according to the folks at Punch, who a couple of years ago did a taste test of 10 different rum Kingston Negronis from bartenders around the country. The winning entry was Anthony Schmidt.

Recipe:

1 ounce Overproof Aged Jamaican rum, preferably Smith & Cross

1 ounce Campari

3/4 ounce Sweet Vermouth, preferably Carpano Antica

1/4 ounce Oloroso Sherry, preferably Lustau

5 to 10 coffee beans

Garnish: half orange wheel, lime twist
