I am an unapologetic 100% Apple user. However, my class, "Mobile Video Storytelling" is for all smartphone users so I need to become more familiar with and conversant on video production apps on the Android platform. To that end, I recently bought a low cost Android phone that I won't use as a phone, but merely as another camera. Though the Nextbit Robin has been discontinued and the company sold to Razer with support for the phone ended in early March, I felt it was worth the risk to get this phone for my "self-education."
